Role Overview
We are looking for a Global Distributor who will play a critical role in optimizing our international supply chain and distribution channels. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in logistics and distribution to drive efficiency and ensure that our products reach customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong collaboration skills to work across various teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global distribution strategies that align with overall business goals and customer needs
- Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Establish and maintain relationships with key distribution partners and logistics providers
- Monitor and report on distribution performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of distribution strategies with sales and marketing initiatives
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance distribution capabilities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in global distribution or supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage relationships with partners
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience with international logistics and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of logistics, warehousing, and inventory management systems
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software
