Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Master Dental Technician to join our innovative dental lab team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to design and fabricate high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring precision and aesthetic excellence in every product. You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care by collaborating with dentists and dental professionals to understand their specific needs and deliver custom solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate complex dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using advanced CAD/CAM technology.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all products, ensuring adherence to strict industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with dentists to discuss treatment plans and provide expert recommendations for dental materials and techniques.
- Mentor and train junior technicians in advanced techniques and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in dental materials, technologies, and regulations to enhance lab processes and product offerings.
- Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a dental technician, with a focus on prosthetics.
- Certification from an accredited dental technology program.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM systems and digital impression technologies.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Preferred:
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a dental lab setting.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D printing technologies and their application in dental prosthetics.
- Familiarity with dental laboratory management software.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in using dental CAD software such as 3Shape or Exocad.
- Proficient in materials science as it relates to dental ceramics, metals, and polymers.
- Experience with digital workflow systems and intraoral scanning technologies.
