Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Dental Office Manager to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote position, you will support the daily operations of our dental practice, ensuring smooth workflows, exceptional patient care, and effective communication within the team. Your role will also involve assisting in managing office staff, optimizing scheduling, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Office Manager in overseeing daily operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and inventory management
- Develop and implement efficient office procedures to enhance workflow and improve patient experiences
- Support staff training and development initiatives to ensure a high standard of service delivery
- Monitor compliance with health regulations and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist in managing patient inquiries and resolving any issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Collaborate with dental professionals to optimize patient care and practice efficiency
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in a dental office setting, with a solid understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Proven experience in administrative roles, including scheduling, billing, and patient management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a dental practice
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Certification in dental office management or related field
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and dental management software
- Ability to leverage technology for scheduling and patient communications
- Understanding of data management principles and HIPAA regulations
