Role Overview
We are looking for an organized and proactive Assistant Office Manager to support the administrative operations of our remote team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a collaborative work environment. You will be instrumental in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and supporting communication across departments, all while embracing the flexibility and dynamism of a fully remote workplace.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks and operations to ensure a seamless workflow
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, including setting agendas, and preparing necessary documentation
- Maintain digital files and records in a systematic and organized manner
- Support communication between departments to enhance collaboration and information flow
- Help onboard new employees by providing necessary resources and support
- Provide administrative support to senior management as needed, including research and report preparation
- Contribute to the development and implementation of office policies and procedures to improve efficiency
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office management role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools
Preferred:
- Experience in a remote work environment
- Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and environments
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in digital communication tools such as Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams
