Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regional Deli Manager to oversee the operations and strategic direction of multiple deli locations within our region. This role is vital in ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency across all deli operations while maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the deli operations across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to company standards for quality, service, and food safety
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiencies
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and control costs to meet budgetary goals
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Train, mentor, and develop deli staff to promote a high-performance culture and ensure exceptional service delivery
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to create promotional strategies that align with regional goals
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in deli management or a related field, with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
- Proficient in analyzing financial reports and operational metrics to drive decision-making
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, hospitality, or a related field
- Experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
- Prior experience in a multi-unit management role within the food service industry
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory management software
- Familiarity with food safety compliance software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
