Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Crane Oiler to oversee the lubrication and maintenance of our crane equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the mechanical integrity and operational efficiency of cranes, enabling safe and effective construction and industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine lubrication and maintenance of cranes, ensuring all mechanical components are operating smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement lubrication schedules and maintenance protocols to optimize equipment performance.
- Monitor oil levels and quality, and conduct regular inspections to detect any potential issues before they escalate.
- Lead a team of oiler technicians, providing training and guidance to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to assess equipment needs and ensure timely maintenance interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, oil usage, and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to crane operation and maintenance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical maintenance or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in crane maintenance or heavy equipment lubrication.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with specific crane models and their maintenance requirements.
- Certification as a crane operator or in related equipment operations.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to crane operations.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in lubrication techniques and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
