Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Support the corporate governance processes, including the preparation of meeting minutes and resolutions.
- Collaborate with external counsel as needed to address complex legal issues and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Participate in training sessions to educate employees on legal compliance and corporate policies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with an ability to interpret and apply legal principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Up to 2 years of experience in a corporate legal environment, including internships or clerkships.
- Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance issues.
- Experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
