Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Contract Administrator to join our growing legal team. This role will support the administration of contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance and facilitating smooth operations across various departments. You will work closely with senior administrators, legal teams, and various stakeholders to learn the nuances of contract management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Support the management of contract lifecycle, including tracking key milestones and renewal dates
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and information for contract execution
- Maintain organized records of contracts and amendments, ensuring easy access and retrieval
- Participate in meetings to discuss contract terms and provide administrative support
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements and assist in compliance audits as needed
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in contract administration or related areas
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with contract management software
- Knowledge of legal terminology and contract law
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with document management systems
- Basic understanding of legal compliance frameworks
