Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from conception through completion. In this strategic role, you will utilize your extensive experience in construction management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Lead project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns that arise throughout the project lifecycle
- Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore)
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager)
- Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in construction project management methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Proficient in financial management, including cost estimation and budgeting
