Role Overview
We are seeking a distinguished and innovative Professor of Condensed Matter Physics to join our esteemed faculty. In this fully remote role, you will contribute to cutting-edge research and deliver high-quality instruction, inspiring the next generation of physicists while pushing the boundaries of knowledge in condensed matter physics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a robust research program in condensed matter physics, focusing on areas such as quantum materials, nanotechnology, or statistical mechanics
- Publish high-impact research findings in leading scientific journals and present your work at national and international conferences
- Design and deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses in condensed matter physics, emphasizing both theoretical and experimental approaches
- Mentor and guide graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in their academic and professional development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore innovative applications of condensed matter physics in technology and industry
- Participate in departmental governance and contribute to the strategic direction of the physics program
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field with a focus on condensed matter physics
- A strong record of published research in reputable journals and presentations at academic conferences
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level
- Ability to secure research funding through grants and collaborations

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
