Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Principal Computer Systems Consultant to join our esteemed consulting team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive expertise to guide complex system integrations and enhance the operational efficiency of our clients' IT infrastructures. You'll engage directly with stakeholders, providing strategic insights and fostering relationships to drive impactful technological transformations.
Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting and Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end assessments of client systems, identifying areas for improvement and delivering actionable recommendations
- Architect innovative solutions that align with clients' strategic goals, ensuring scalability and sustainability
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower client teams in adopting new technologies and methodologies
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment on project deliverables
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with client executives, serving as a primary point of contact and advisor
- Drive project management best practices, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Conduct thorough data analyses to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations
- Implement metrics and KPIs to measure success and guide continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting or computer systems consulting, with a proven track record of driving successful projects
- Deep understanding of system architecture, integration practices, and IT operational frameworks
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience leading complex projects
- Proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, such as ITIL or COBIT
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in systems integration, enterprise architecture, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and methodologies, including SQL and data visualization software
- Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
