Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal IT Consultant to lead complex IT transformations and drive strategic initiatives for our clients. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and enterprise architecture to provide high-level consulting services that align technology with business objectives, ensuring our clients achieve their strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of IT strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' IT environments and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive IT roadmaps and project plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud migration strategies, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, fostering buy-in and alignment on strategic initiatives.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team to build capabilities and expertise.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting or a related field, with a proven track record of leading large-scale IT transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and frameworks.
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or PMP.
- Experience with emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools to enhance the software development lifecycle.
