Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Social Worker to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in providing mental health support and counseling services to individuals and families. In this in-person role, you will engage directly with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions that promote mental well-being and emotional resilience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide immediate support during acute mental health episodes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and support networks to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the relevant state
- 2+ years of clinical experience in mental health settings
- Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies
- Familiarity with integrated care models and community resources
- Certifications in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Understanding of assessment tools and treatment planning software
- Ability to utilize telehealth technologies for remote consultations as needed
