Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Clinical Operations Manager to support the management of clinical operations within our organization. In this role, you'll play a critical part in optimizing clinical trial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational workflows
- Monitor project milestones, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, conducting audits as necessary
- Participate in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to clinical operations
- Support budgeting and resource allocation for clinical projects
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in clinical operations or project management within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in data analysis and project management tools
Preferred:
- Experience working with clinical trial management systems (CTMS)
- Certification in Clinical Research (e.g., ACRP, SOCRA) is a plus
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data management and analysis
- Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar)
