Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our innovative healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will support the analysis of clinical samples, ensuring accurate results that contribute to patient care. Your work will be foundational in enhancing our laboratory processes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests on clinical samples under the supervision of senior technologists, utilizing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Conduct quality control checks and validate test results to maintain high standards of laboratory practice.
- Document all procedures, results, and any deviations in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Engage in continuous learning by participating in training sessions and staying updated with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- ASCP certification or eligibility for certification.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting, particularly in sample analysis.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards for clinical laboratories.
