Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced City Letter Carrier Supervisor to lead our team in the efficient and effective delivery of mail services. In this fully remote role, you will oversee the daily operations of letter carriers, ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a culture of safety and excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of letter carriers to ensure timely and accurate mail delivery.
- Implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity while maintaining high service standards.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback to letter carriers, promoting their professional development.
- Monitor adherence to safety protocols and operational policies, ensuring a safe working environment.

- Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and address service challenges effectively.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional coursework in management or related fields preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in mail delivery or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of mail delivery processes and regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Preferred:
- Experience in a unionized environment and knowledge of labor relations.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using operational management software and tools.
- Familiarity with postal regulations and compliance standards.
