Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care through advanced clinical assessments, diagnosis, and management of health conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and patient history evaluations to determine health status and needs.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing evidence-based management plans that align with best practices.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational protocols.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
- Utilize telehealth technology to conduct virtual consultations and follow-up appointments effectively.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical guidelines development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Active APRN licensure and certification in a relevant specialty area.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and advocacy.
Preferred:
- Experience in telehealth or remote healthcare delivery models.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a clinical setting.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using telehealth platforms and technology for virtual patient interactions.
- Familiarity with EHR systems, such as Epic or Cerner.
- Ability to analyze clinical data and apply evidence-based practices to patient care.
