Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tile Installation Supervisor to lead our remote team of tile installers. In this role, you will oversee tile installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Your expertise in tile installation techniques and team leadership will be crucial in delivering exceptional results to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate tile installation projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and technical standards
- Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed project plans, including material estimates and labor requirements
- Lead, mentor, and train a remote team of tile installers, fostering a culture of excellence and safety
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices during all installation activities
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project expectations are met
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in tile installation with a proven track record of project supervision
- Strong knowledge of various tile types, installation methods, and tools
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a remote team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
Preferred:
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Certifications in tile installation or related fields
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Familiarity with design software for creating installation layouts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
