Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Bank Examiner to oversee the examination and supervision of financial institutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing best practices within the banking sector. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate examination teams to assess compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Evaluate financial institutions’ risk management frameworks, capital adequacy, and asset quality
- Develop examination reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with senior management and regulatory agencies to enhance supervisory processes and address emerging risks
- Mentor junior examiners, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous improvement
- Conduct training sessions on regulatory changes and best practices in supervision
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in bank examination, supervision, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, risk management practices, and supervisory frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership abilities in managing teams and influencing stakeholders
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field
