Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Assistant Ballet Professor to join our esteemed dance faculty. In this role, you will contribute to the artistic and academic development of our students through innovative teaching methods, choreography, and performance preparation. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive ballet curricula that integrates technique, artistry, and performance skills.

- Choreograph original works for student performances and participate in the staging of productions.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to enhance the department’s educational offerings and student experiences.

- Engage in scholarly research and professional development activities to remain current in the field of dance education.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Dance or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience as a ballet dancer or instructor.
- Demonstrated ability to teach ballet at various levels, with a focus on both classical and contemporary styles.
Preferred:
- Experience in choreography and staging for theatrical productions.
- Strong background in dance pedagogy and student mentorship.
- Active participation in professional dance organizations or communities.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in ballet technique and pedagogy.
- Familiarity with dance notation systems and educational technology for remote learning.
- Experience with video editing software for performance documentation and feedback.
