Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced General Counsel to join [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Oversee the training and development of legal staff and provide mentorship to junior attorneys.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 10+ years of legal experience, with significant experience in a corporate legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex commercial transactions and litigation.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Experience in a technology-driven industry or a Fortune 500 company.
- Previous experience as a General Counsel or in a senior legal leadership position.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive legal strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in legal research tools and compliance management software.
- Proficiency in contract management systems and electronic discovery tools.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
