Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Protection Associate to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining asset protection programs, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies to safeguard our organization’s assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents involving loss of company assets, including theft and fraud
- Analyze data and trends related to asset protection and provide actionable insights to management
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams when necessary to resolve theft incidents
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize loss and improve asset protection measures
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with asset protection policies
- Train and educate employees on asset protection best practices and procedures
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct physical inspections to identify security vulnerabilities
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficient in surveillance and security systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail or corporate asset protection
- Knowledge of criminal investigations and legal compliance
- Professional certification in loss prevention or asset protection
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies
- Experience with security technology, such as access control systems and alarm systems
