Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree, with a valid veterinary license to practice
- 10+ years of progressive experience in veterinary medicine, including surgical expertise
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for client education
Preferred:
- Specialty certification in surgery or internal medicine
- Experience in a leadership role within a veterinary practice or organization

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in a variety of surgical techniques and veterinary diagnostics
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and practice management software
- Proficient in utilizing imaging technologies, including X-ray and ultrasound
