Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and low voltage wiring.
- Proficient in programming alarm systems and security software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Valid security technician license or equivalent certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced alarm technologies and smart home integration.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as NFPA and UL.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and technical support.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in alarm systems such as Honeywell, Bosch, and DSC.
- Proficient in working with IP-based security systems and cloud-based monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with tools and software for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
