Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Airport Apron Bus Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the efficient operation of our apron transportation services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely movement of passengers and crew to and from the aircraft, while maintaining high standards of service and compliance with aviation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the apron bus operations, ensuring timely and efficient transport of passengers and crew to and from aircraft.
- Develop and implement operational procedures that enhance safety and efficiency in bus operations.
- Coordinate with airline representatives, ground handling staff, and airport authorities to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor bus maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition for service.
- Conduct training sessions for bus drivers on safety protocols, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including bus schedules, passenger counts, and incident reports.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or passenger concerns in a timely manner.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in airport operations or ground handling, with a focus on passenger transportation.
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with fleet management software and scheduling systems.
- Certification in airport ground operations or related fields.
