Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in transportation and logistics management, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize costs effectively
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and fleet management software
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
- Experience with logistics software, including TMS and route optimization tools
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and fleet management technologies
