Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical maintenance team in ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in aircraft electrical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance in troubleshooting and repairs of aircraft electrical systems
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize aircraft availability and reliability
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards
- Lead root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and operations to support aircraft maintenance and modifications
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance metrics
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft electrical systems maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and electrical system troubleshooting techniques
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team management and development
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Preferred:
