We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to own outbound prospecting to build pipeline and accelerate growth at Zip Security. The role involves engaging senior executives and technical leaders at startups and SMBs via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and working closely with sales leadership, the founder, and cross-functional peers to shape process and strategy.
Requirements
- Identify and research prospective customers in targeted segments
- Initiate outbound communication (email, phone, LinkedIn) to engage prospects
- Manage inbound leads and qualify them through discovery calls
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and campaigns
- Book meetings and demos for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records and activity logs in our CRM
- Gather market intelligence and share feedback with the team
- Represent Zip’s values and mission to prospects
