Data Technical Lead

As the Data Technical Lead at Xenon7, you will play a pivotal role in leading our data engineering team and driving the technical direction of our data projects and initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable data solutions. Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable data solutions.
• Define and implement best practices for data engineering, ensuring high-quality code and efficient data processing.
• Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
• Optimize data workflows and performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the overall data strategy of the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist and/or Machine Learning Engineer, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing large-scale data systems and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
