Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer is a highly skilled technical contributor responsible for designing and building full-stack software applications, AI-powered solutions, and software-centric lab environments surfaced on wwt.com, as well as contributing to paid proof of concept (PoC) engagements with customers.
What You Will Do
Design, architect, and build full-stack web applications and APIs using modern frameworks and languages, develop and integrate AI application components, build and maintain software-centric lab environments, and support paid proof of concept (PoC) engagements.

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated depth in full-stack application development
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience building AI-powered applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: React or a comparable front-end framework, Node.js or Python back-end development, REST/GraphQL API design, cloud-native deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, source control (git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks
- Expert proficiency in full-stack web development across the complete application stack
- Ability to lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and set and uphold team-wide software engineering standards
