PURPOSE
The Sr. Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will help develop and implement appropriate test methodologies, test plans and test cases which will ensure products released to customers are at high quality and error-free. In addition, this position will utilize appropriate test tools, process and practices as defined by the Director of QE and the QA Lead for functional, systems-integration as well as building in quality standards throughout the SDLC to avoid defects and minimize rework and waste.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement appropriate test plans for functional and systems-integration testing efforts
- Participate in sprint planning, user story grooming, defining acceptance criteria’s, design walkthroughs so QA can inject quality early in the development life cycle
- Closely collaborate with other scrum team members (Product owners, Systems Analysts, Developers) to ensure business and technical requirements are fully understood
- Ensure that business requirements are fully met before each release; certify releases for quality and completeness of functionality
- Assist in reviewing, analyzing and documenting business and user requirements for technology product development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science, Engineering or related preferred
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance testing experience in a web application environment testing User Interfaces, Web services, Micro services, API’s, backend database application components
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in writing test plans, test cases for simple to complex application enhancements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing SQL scripts and defects management
- 1+years of experience working in a Scrum Agile, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Fast phase environment supporting weekly or daily production deployments
- Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies, test scenarios development techniques and defects management
- Prior experience with SalesForce CRM, MuleSoft/Mule is a plus.
