About the Role
The Head of Cross Sales owns the commercial performance andcross‑sellgrowth agenda for theorganisation’slargest merchants. This role is accountable for driving product penetration, increasing platformutilisation, reducing attrition, and delivering material revenue growth from an established,high‑valuemerchant base. The role works in close partnership with Sales,Portfolio Management,Product, Commercialand Planning,andPartnershipsteamsto deliver exceptionalend‑to‑endoutcomes forthepriorititymanagedmerchants.

Commercial Ownership & Strategy
Own thecross‑salescommercial commitments for the largest merchants within Global Payments.
Set and execute thelong‑termcommercial strategy tomaximiselifetime value, revenue growth, and product adoption across the largest merchant portfolio (c. 10k of 250k merchants).
Drive material revenueupliftfrom existing scale merchants whilemaintaininglow levels of attrition.
Partner closely withSMBPortfolio Management team to aligncross‑sellstrategy with portfolio segmentation, growth priorities, and performance insights.
Sales Execution & Performance Management
Own and deliver sales targets for existing merchants through disciplinedcross‑sellexecution.
Manage the sales process and pipeline toidentifyandrealisegrowth opportunities in product penetration and platformutilisation.
Ensure consistent application of established sales disciplines (e.g.DAPA), with clear identification andprioritisationof merchant opportunities.
Lead and evolve the Decile10programmeto unlockadditionalcross‑salesvalue over time.
Portfolio Insight & Targeting
Leverage portfolio review insights from Commercial and Sales teams to drivepropensity‑basedtargeting and differentiated offers for the largest merchants.
Use data and performance analysis toidentifyclient growth opportunities and develop tailoredcross‑sellstrategies.
Collaborate with SMB Portfolio Management and shared analytics teams toleveragecommon data, and insight sources to inform targeting andprioritisation.
Client Experience & Service Excellence
Ensure theend‑to‑endservice experience for the largest merchants is exceptional.
Work closely with functional partners across Product, Client Service, Operations, and Enterprise teams to resolve issues, improve service outcomes, and protectlong‑termrelationships.
Enterprise Collaboration
Activelyleveragethe full capabilities of Global Payments, including Enterprise product sets, to deliverbest‑in‑classmerchant solutions.
Operate effectively in a matrixed, globalorganisationto deliver outcomes for merchants by coordinating across multiple teams and functions.
