Job Summary
We are seeking a senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in the PeopleSoft Time & Labor module to support ongoing HR and workforce management initiatives for our client.
This role is focused on functional consulting and business process support within PeopleSoft HCM, specifically around Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Payroll integration, and workforce-related processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, payroll teams, and functional leads to analyze requirements, support configurations, troubleshoot functional issues, and optimize existing processes.
The consultant should possess strong experience in unionized and complex workforce environments, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable PeopleSoft functional solutions. This is a purely functional role and is not intended for technical developers or integration-focused consultants.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide functional expertise in PeopleSoft HCM Time & Labor
- Support Time & Attendance and Scheduling business processes
- Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional workshops
- Analyze and resolve functional issues related to Time & Labor processing
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders on process improvements
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll testing
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and business requirements
- Support payroll-related integrations and Time & Labor processing activities
- Assist with configuration reviews and business process optimization
- Provide guidance on best practices within PeopleSoft Time & Labor
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional consulting experience
- Strong hands-on functional experience with:

- Time & Attendance
- Scheduling / Workforce Management
- Payroll for North America
- Absence Management
- Proven experience leading functional workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Experience in public sector, higher education, or unionized environments preferred
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll business processes
- Experience with fit-gap analysis, functional documentation, and testing support
