We are now recruiting an experienced Investor relations director - MENA Partnerships to be based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai or London.
The Partnerships is a membership that offers senior members of asset management business development teams a unique, multi-faceted opportunity to connect, engage and learn with decision makers from preeminent institutions and their consultants. After the successful launch of The Partnerships in the U.S. in 2022, we are looking to replicate that success in MENA and are seeking a Director of Investor Relations, MENA Partnerships to support that initiative.
The Director of Investor Relations, MENA Partnerships will work closely with the team to develop and execute numerous initiatives like filling various programs with speakers and building out advisory boards. It requires thinking creatively in order to attract investors and consultants by implementing investor-only initiatives and working closely with the Content Director.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with allocators and investment consultants through face-to-face meetings, phone calls and attendance at conferences in order to stay current on investor initiatives and priorities.
- Keep up to date with industry and market trends, people moves, new investment strategies and headlines.
- Place speakers on relevant Retreat agendas and ensure strong attendance at each Retreat.
- Input investment strategies into Salesforce after each investor meeting.
- Solicit and identify Q&A, trends and analysis for surveys from investor meetings. Travel to select events and act as host/MC
- If candidate shows appropriate skill set, position may evolve into having broader responsibility over MENA Partnerships
Requirements
- Existing relationships with allocators and investment consultants in MENA region is essential.
- An excellent communicator who’s able to grasp client’s needs and brainstorm creative way to fulfil them either through sessions, panels, surveys, investor gatherings, investor case studies, etc.
- Take the initiative to stay up to date with market trends and people moves and update everything in SalesForce.
- Effective organizational skills, accuracy and attend to detail.
- Results-oriented, high personal integrity and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Works well under pressure and can multi task.
- An enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter.
- The ability to travel locally and internationally.
- Knowledge of SalesForce desirable.
