About Our Client
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credentialing & Front Office Virtual Assistant to support their healthcare operations. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end provider credentialing, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with administrative and billing-related tasks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with insurance payers and thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle credentialing process for healthcare providers across multiple insurance payers
- Prepare, submit, and track credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Proactively follow up with payers via phone and email to ensure timely processing and status updates
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date credentialing records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements and internal processes
- Assist with billing-related tasks, including basic claims follow-ups or documentation support
- Provide front office support such as email management, data entry, and administrative coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams to address credentialing or operational issues
- Support additional administrative or operational tasks as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven experience in provider credentialing, enrollment, or a similar healthcare administrative role
- Strong understanding of payer processes, requirements, and timelines
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) or similar tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Experience in medical billing or front office support is a plus
Basic requirements
- Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
- Must have relevant work experience
- Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
- Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)
