Through a virtual, mentor-based approach, this role provides individualized therapy services, collaborates with families and team members, and contributes to student growth in alignment with Williamsburg Learning's commitment to personalized, human-centered education .Essential Duties (Top 5 Roles)Direct Student Services (Virtual Delivery)Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students in a fully virtual setting (up to 20 hours/week)Implement IEP goals related to fine motor, sensory processing, executive functioning, and adaptive skillsUtilize creative and engaging strategies to support student participation in an online learning environmentEvaluation & DocumentationConduct virtual assessments and contribute to initial evaluations and re-evaluationsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with IDEA and state guidelinesDevelop and update IEP goals, progress reports, and service logsCollaboration & ConsultationPartner with mentors, SPED team members, and families to support student successProvide consultation and strategies to support accommodations and modifications in the virtual classroomParticipate in IEP meetings and team discussions as a related service providerCompliance & Case SupportEnsure services are delivered in alignment with IEP requirements and service minutesStay informed on federal, state, and WAC-specific special education compliance requirementsSupport audit readiness and contribute to maintaining high-quality program standardsProgram Contribution & Continuous ImprovementContribute to the development of innovative virtual therapy practices aligned with WL's philosophy of blending classical education with modern toolsEngage in team meetings, professional development, and collaborative problem-solvingSupport a culture of proactive communication, growth mindset, and continuous improvementNon-Essential DutiesPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in Occupational TherapyActive Colorado Occupational Therapist license (required)Experience working with school-aged students, preferably in a special education settingFamiliarity with virtual service delivery or willingness to adapt to teletherapy modelsStrong understanding of IEP development, IDEA compliance, and related service requirementsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teamsAbility to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong team connectionWork ConditionsThis role is primarily virtual; however, the Occupational Therapist must be able to conduct in-person evaluations within the state of Colorado as needed to ensure compliance and high-quality student supportMust be available during regular business hours and peak enrollment cyclesOccasional off-hour virtual meetings may be requiredDescribe the preferred qualifications for this roleBenefitsAfter meeting the eligibility requirements, benefits are available, including Health, 401(k) Retirement, Paid Holidays, and Paid Time Off.Salary Range$40 an hour, up to 20 hours per weekWilliamsburg Learning is an Equal Opportunity Employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
