Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a Vendor Governance Specialist who will partner with the Vendor Governance Manager and multiple WEG Business Teams to provide focus and support on WEG’s significant and fast paced Merger and Acquisition strategy. This role helps drive the vendor transition workstreams for each project through multiple stages to completion.
This position is a remote opportunity.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Merger and Acquisition Vendor Operations
Understand and support merger and acquisition vendor transitions through all project stages
Analyze project vendors and close identified gaps working with the project teams
Build and maintain project artifacts per WEG’s standard processes
Gather Seller vendor details from multiple WEG resources to enhance and complete the project vendor documentation
Meet and communicate effectively with multiple WEG teams taking project vendor artifacts to conclusion
Executes tasks, creates deliverables, and applies administrative support to ensure initiatives are delivered timely, completely, and in alignment with WEG’s evolving processes
Relationship Management
Establish strong partnerships with key internal business stakeholders to ensure vendor relationship owners are participating and aware of vendor transitions
Provide guidance to key internal business stakeholders as new vendors are onboarded
Maintains internal alignment on project objectives, required actions, tight timelines, and outcomes
Take project vendor transitions to conclusion post close staying aligned to WEG teams and target teams
Contract Review
Reviews vendor contracts and summarizes each for project consumption
Communicates contract summaries to corresponding WEG Business Teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serves as an owner of M&A vendor transition initiatives, driving project team activities through completion
Visible point of contact for business owner, facilitating interaction with other internal/external stakeholders to deliver desired business outcomes
Extensive collaboration with multiple WEG Business Teams to complete project tasks for overall project success
Expected to provide feedback on processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of how WEG integrates acquisition target vendors
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
3+ years vendor management experience
Ability to read and understand contracts
Merger and Acquisition experience preferred
Confidently interfaces with leadership, peers, both internally and externally
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strength in organization and time management
Ability to balance pace with attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Lead is $67,300.00 to $97,300.00.
