Provides assistance in the management and monitoring of the outstanding accounts; training and performance evaluations of personnel in central billing office; monitoring adherence to department policies and guidelines by regular audits.
Requirements
- Oversees training, evaluation, work and vacation schedules of central billing office.
- Supervises billing office functions such as patient admission, interview process, collection of demographics, insurance information, payment arrangements and other data necessary for smooth functioning of the billing process.
- Ensures that all policies and procedures are documented, current, pertinent and properly utilized by all subordinate personnel.
- Assists in the monitoring of the outstanding account balances for the commercial insurance area.
- Assists superiors in hiring and employee relations of central billing office personnel;
