Job Title: Director Process Transformation – FP&A

Location: Remote

A little bit about our team:

The Finance Transformation team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to re-imagine our processes and systems to establish more standardized and efficient ways of working that will drive WMG’s growth and business aspirations.

Your role:

The Director Process Transformation – FP&A will help ensure the successful delivery of the overall transformation portfolio and co-lead the design, development, and support of the future state budget and forecast process. The role will touch many key areas of the business and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the global finance team.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Work closely with global internal partners and third-party technology partners to design and implement a standardized planning methodology across WMG
  • Design, build, and implement new budget and forecasting technology to deliver the following planning models (Revenue, Overheads, Workforce, Balance sheet, Cash Forecast, & A&R/Marketing) and standard planning reports to aid global business in the planning process
  • Co-Lead on user acceptance testing sessions of planning models to world-wide finance community
  • Provide support to the global business post go-live during the planning process, including trouble shooting issues as they arise
  • Work with partners to ensure Product / Policy / Process / Procedure / System decisions take into account territory variances and business needs
  • Partner with global technology to identify, build, & implement integration points between new systems and processes
  • Partner with People Team to develop job aids, communications and training approaches to embed new ways of working and systems training for the planning area
  • Responsible for the resolution and review of planning issues, risks and business impacts
  • Proactively identifies internal and external planning practices that will enable improvement of the standard end-to-end process
  • Provide regular process updates & action plans to senior executives across the finance community in partnership with Co-Lead
  • Develop, manage and supervise project timelines with Co-Lead to ensure effective transition during and post go-live

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 7 - 10+ years finance related experience
  • Experience in a global/complex company preferred.
  • Ability to deliver valuable analyses to senior management.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, complex, global and dynamically changing environment
  • Strong analytical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for driving transformation and change
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • A questioning, curious mind with a desire to continuously improve status quo
  • Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, ownership of results and customer focus
  • Ability to work remote with periodic travel

  • Experience with enterprise-level organizational change

Salary Range

$170,000 to $200,000 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
