What you'll do...
Finance Data Factory is a cornerstone of Walmart’s financial data infrastructure, responsible for building and maintaining True North datasets that are trusted, authoritative data assets that serve as the single source of truth across the enterprise. These foundational datasets are meticulously engineered to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability, and are consumed by a wide array of downstream applications that support critical business operations, financial systems, and executive decision-making.Our team plays a strategic role in enabling data-driven transformation across Finance by:
- Standardizing financial data across segments and systems to eliminate ambiguity and drive alignment.
- Powering automation and analytics for applications ranging from transactional processing to predictive modeling.
- Supporting executive reporting with high-quality, timely insights that inform strategic planning and performance tracking.
- Ensuring scalability and governance through robust data pipelines, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.

Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What you'll do:
- Own Walmart’s authoritative financial data assets that serve as the single source of truth
- Standardize financial data across SAP,, Data Lake, and downstream system
- Power analytics and ML with high-quality, ready-to-use financial data
- Deliver timely, accurate data for executive reporting and strategic planning
- Build scalable, governed data pipelines that support growth and regulatory needs
- Reduce manual reconciliation and operational risk through engineered data quality
- Partner with Finance and Engineering to translate business strategy into data products
What you'll bring:
- Executive-level communication — can translate complex data and engineering concepts into clear business outcomes for Finance, Product, and senior leadership
- Strong influence without authority - able to align Finance, Engineering, and Architecture teams around a common data strategy and drive decisions across org boundaries
- Deep technical acumen - understands modern data platforms, pipelines, governance, and financial systems well enough to challenge designs and ensure scalable, reliable solutions

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
