  • Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between Core Cloud engineers, other Vultr engineering teams, and leadership.
  • 3rd-Party Communication: Manage project communication with strategic external vendors and partners (e.g., hardware suppliers, technology partners, and service providers).
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure that internal and external stakeholders are kept informed with clear updates, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Process Execution: Build and refine lightweight but effective project management processes that keep the team moving efficiently.
  • Risk Dependency Management: Proactively identify risks, blockers, and interdependencies; work with engineering leads to mitigate them.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project plans, technical requirements, and post-mortems to ensure knowledge is shared and repeatable.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager in a technical, engineering-heavy environment.
  • Strong ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders, including 3rd-party vendors or strategic partners.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, virtualization (KVM, QEMU, libvirt), and networking concepts (BGP, OVS, automation frameworks) is a plus (not required to be an expert).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear business updates.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and modern project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitLab).
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities across distributed teams.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and keep projects on track.
