Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer to support the design, deployment, and ongoing optimization of secure, scalable software environments. This role focuses on maintaining CI/CD pipelines, eliminating vulnerabilities, managing Helm charts, and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based systems, while contributing to design discussions and supporting data engineering efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver with a security-first mindset and experience across modern cloud-native toolchains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Modify application and infrastructure code to remediate CVEs and enforce secure coding and DevSecOps best practices.
- Expand, version, and maintain Helm charts to support consistent, automated Kubernetes deployments.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments across multiple clusters and environments.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions with engineering teams to drive scalable, secure solutions.
- Support data engineering workflows, pipelines, and integrations as part of enterprise data initiatives.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- 3+ years of Kubernetes experience, including deployment, troubleshooting, and cluster operations.
- 2+ years of Helm experience, including chart management and templating.
- 3+ years of CI/CD experience, ideally using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo, or Tekton.
- 2+ years of Data Engineering experience, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or cloud-based data workflows.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, vulnerability remediation, security scanning (SAST/DAST), and container security best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, security, and platform teams.
