We are looking for an experienced and passionate Embedded Game Tester to join our development team, working side-by-side with our team of programmers, designers, artists and producers. You will partner with veteran developers to test game features the moment they come online. You will be responsible for creating test plans, thoroughly testing our games, identifying and reporting defects, demonstrating repro steps, and providing concise feedback.
What You Will Do:
- Play game builds; find and enter clear and concise bugs into our tracking database
- Monitor previously-entered bugs to verify resolution, and regress issues a fix is implemented
- Follow and maintain existing test plans, as well as crafting new ones
- Meet with development leads; identify and priorities areas of focus to improve your impact
- Quickly and accurately handle requests from other departments as needed
- Monitor build status daily and flag blocking issues
- Keep up with bugs entered by external QA departments and flag high severity issues
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
- 2+ year of QA experience
- MS Office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of current video game platforms and related hardware
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and schedule demands in a fluid environment
- Love for video games (not just ours!)
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft and Sony certification testing experience
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and/or Perforce
- Code literacy (ability to read and understand the general thrust of code, if not the exact means of execution)
- Familiarity with WWE franchise, WWE video games, or fighting video games
This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States. Below are the expected salary and wage ranges for applicants based in locations where the pay transparency law is in effect: Colorado: $ and $ per year. California: $ per year. New York State (inclusive of New York City): $ per year. Washington: $ per year. Base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
