Pismo is a technology company that provides a comprehensive processing platform for banking, card issuing and financial market infrastructure. The company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development and evolution of the engineering ecosystem behind the Control Center — our client-facing web application.
Requirements
- Lead and mentor a team focused on engineering productivity, CI/CD, observability, and technical standards for the Control Center.
- Hire and develop engineering talent aligned with the team's mission and Pismo’s culture.
- Own the technical vision and roadmap for developer infrastructure and platform capabilities supporting all Control Center squads.
- Define and evolve engineering standards (frontend, backend, DevOps) that enable consistent, high-quality delivery across teams.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leaders to ensure the platform enables scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in pipelines, tooling, system performance, and operational excellence.
- Lead integrations with complex external systems and internal services that support the Control Center ecosystem.
- Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and impacts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent the team and its roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives that reduce friction, increase developer throughput, and enhance system reliability.
