United States onlyThe Senior Technical Editor is a key team member of the proposal team, responsible for providing editing and writing support for proposals and other written material, and facilitating the delivery of high-quality reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, related engineering field or technical writing/creative writing from an accredited college/university preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the correctional environment
- Experience with web-based collaboration and content management systems (such as Microsoft SharePoint) is preferred
- Excellent editing skills, following accepted rules of grammar, style, tone, and form
- Proficient in communicating and collaborating with personnel at all levels of an organization
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts both orally and in written documents
- Ability to articulate technical ideas into simple language
- Proficiency in Microsoft MS Office suite of products
