WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Accounts Receivable Accountant
The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for the accounting and reporting of revenue-related activities and corresponding receivables. The AR Accountant monitors and records revenue activity and provides outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
This is a full-time, remote position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support Accounts Receivable team to meet key deliverables and deadlines to both internal and external customers.
Oversee promotions requiring reimbursement from manufacturer or group partner.
Ensure journal entries are posted timely and accurately with proper substantiation, including recurring and non-standard entries.
Prepare and review key policies and work instructions; ensure processes support internal control effectiveness and process efficiency.
Analyze monthly AR aging report, including identifying, documenting, and resolving significant variances from trend or expectations on customer ledger balances.
Analyze programs, on an as needed basis, to ensure proper reporting and/or payment from manufacturer/partner.
Coordinate creation of reporting with our analytics team to streamline existing processes-related reconciliations, invoices, and other miscellaneous reports.
Test processes for regular updates and business driven changes.
Develop and implement process improvements in key areas using creative problem-solving skills.
Assist in analysis of Accounts Receivable on an as needed basis.
Responsible for communication with customers regarding payments or answering questions related to client issues.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a related role.
2+ years of experience working with large ERP system, Oracle Fusion preferred.
Must be able to use sound judgement to make decisions and know when to ask manager for assistance.
Must be able to use discretion in dealing with confidential material.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems with multiple variables.
Proven ability to recognize process deficiencies and recommend/implement improvements.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Ability to communicate and partner with other departments in order to identify and assist in the development of enhanced processes and procedures.
Excellent computer skills; experience using email, instant message, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, as well as the ability to learn how to navigate unfamiliar systems or programs quickly; must have intermediate to expert Excel skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting functions.

Reliable internet access is required.
Sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer for long periods of time.

Pay range (US based applicants): $26.70 - $30.00 / hour
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
