The Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Account Manager role is responsible for growing Vertiv’s market share within various industry Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and will act as a trusted advisor driving positive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales of Vertiv products and services to the GPO and their respective membership.
- Identify and work with the GPO Leadership & their Account Management teams to gain access and sell to the end user.
- Work with leadership to develop departmental policies and procedures to ensure successful business execution of the affiliated Channel partner sales strategy.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and see them through to closure and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong supporting relationships with GPO membership, national resellers, and other key influencers.
- Conduct presentations to effectively communicate the value propositions of Vertiv solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and local Sales Offices, to align product offerings with customer needs and requirements.
- Ensure success through engaging administrative and technical personnel to accelerate sales.
- Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and contracts to meet customer requirements and secure new business.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs; provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance visibility and build relationships.
