Verse Medical is building the modern software infrastructure to make it happen. We're a well-funded Series C company (backed by General Catalyst, SignalFire, and Sapphire Ventures) on a mission to heal a fragmented system. Our platform connects the dots between providers, payors, and patients, ensuring people get the high-quality care they need, reliably and right where they live. What You'll Achieve: A Glimpse into Your Contributions

Within your first year, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with Leadership to understand their hiring needs and develop effective, scalable recruiting strategies for our founding leadership hires.

  • Source, engage, and attract top-tier talent through a variety of channels, including online platforms, networking events, and employee referrals.

  • Screen and interview candidates to assess their skills, experience, and potential to add to our culture.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all candidates.

  • Develop and implement best practices, including interview training for hiring managers and a data-driven approach to tracking and reporting on key metrics.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Verse Medical, effectively communicating our mission, values, and a compelling employee value proposition to potential candidates.

What You'll Bring: The Skills and Experience You'll Leverage

  • 7+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exec search and leadership recruitment experience strongly preferred.

  • Deep understanding of the health-tech landscape and the ability to effectively source and assess candidates for a variety of roles.

  • Experience building and scaling recruiting processes and a strong understanding of best practices in talent acquisition.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • A strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex recruiting challenges.

  • A passion for our mission and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.

  • Meaningful Compensation: $120,000-165,000

Work Environment & Location:

  • This role is based in our New York City office in Chelsea. We have a hybrid model, with a requirement of 4 days per week in the office to foster collaboration and innovation.

At JetLenses, we're building the Amazon for medical products, starting with contact lenses. We're backed by top investors including Y Combinator and angels such as Paul Graham and Paul Buchheit. We've grown in revenue and scale incredibly quickly. There are a ton of interesting and valuable problems ahead of us and we'd love your help to solve them.

The process of buying most medical products is pretty awful. The products themselves are confusing, insurance processes are arcane and most people end up overpaying for the stuff they buy for no real reason. At JetLenses, we're building software to dramatically improve this experience.

We're based out of NYC and prefer candidates who can work out of our office, but we're open to remote arrangements, particularly for exceptional candidates.
