AI & AR Technology Lead

We are seeking a visionary AI Leader with a strong background in AR SDKs, rendering engines, and GPU programming. This individual will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, scoping, and delivering cutting-edge AI/ML projects, particularly in the augmented reality (AR) domain. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to drive innovation and foster a high-performing team.

The Role :

• Lead the AI/ML team, establishing best engineering practices (coding standards, automated testing, scalability).
• Oversee the development and maintenance of AI/ML models with a focus on AR technologies.
• Conceptualize and implement AI/ML projects utilizing AR SDKs (e.g., ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia).
• Collaborate with leadership and business units to deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in AR, rendering engines (Unity, Unreal, WebGL), and GPU programming (CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL).
• Drive innovation by integrating AR capabilities into AI solutions.
• Create research and insightful projects that get the organizations and team exposed to new interesting projects and ideas.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects by applying agile methodologies.
• Provide ideas and insights into new business models that could be enabled using Al.

The Person:

• Masters or bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with AR SDKs (ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia).
• Proficiency in rendering engines (Unity, Unreal, WebGL).
• Expertise in GPU programming (CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL).
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other language.
• Familiarity with cloud AI/ML services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Minimum 5-7 years of prior experience in similar role with related professional qualifications.
• Up-to-date with Al research areas and current trends.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps for ML pipeline automation.
• Stay up-to-date with current developments in the field of Al - Safe Al. Ethical Al, Fair Al etc.
• Cloud Al/ML services on AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Cloud computing services.
• Knowledgeable about Big Data technologies and related cloud services.
• Software development lifecycle, project implementation methodologies such as agile etc.
• Infrastructure knowledge for deciding physical/virtual m/c for model retraining etc.

Managerial /Attitude Skills :

• Passionate to learn and build things.
• Understand limitations in resources as a start-up and be willing to do what is necessary to get the job done.
• Experience in developing teams from scratch a plus.
• Strong business understanding. Worked in developing analytics solutions.
