Designation: Senior DevOps Engineer.
Location: Pune, India (Remote).
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will report to the Manager DevOps and as part of your tasks you will work on
automating our deploy system, infrastructure architecture, and application monitoring. Hence, you will be working
together with our Engineering team to constantly improve the quality and stability of our system and help us scale
highly dynamical infrastructure running up to thousands of servers in parallel.
What will you do?
- Provide support and contribute to troubleshooting, remediation of production incidents and events.related to all onboarded applications, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD tools and processes.
• Coach and mentor junior DevOps Engineers in DevOps.
• Continuously improving the codebase and documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies, pitches to stakeholders.
• Owns large parts of the stack, drives improvements.
• Defines the scope of potential impact by introduced infrastructure changes and informs stakeholders.
• Owns medium sized projects, including technical design, life cycle management, delivery.
• Self-sufficient in handling critical incidents
What do you bring to the table?
- Experience Jenkins and CI/CD Pipeline Kubernetes/EKS and ECS.
- Expertise in configuration and setup of automated CI/CD pipelines via tools like Jenkins.
- Strong experience in container management solutions like ECS, EKS etc.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and internals
• Proficient in Bash
• Working knowledge in Python/Go
- Working knowledge maintaining an infrastructure on top of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency with IaaC tools, preferably Terraform, Ansible
• Proficiency with monitoring tools, preferably Prometheus, Grafana
• Experience with ELK stack
• Proficiency with Containers
• Experience working with NoSQl/SQL databases.
• Working knowledge with orchestration
• Understanding of microservice architecture
• Understanding of popular deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Canary
• Understanding operational frameworks such as GitOps
• More than 5 years of experience as a DevOps/Systems/Software Engineer
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or Equivalent
• Fluent English language skills, written and verbal.
